When I saw a demo video of FaceTime over at Engadget, I immediately saw echoes of the 1968 movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Using FaceTime in the movie:
US$1.70 was a lot of frikkin money in 1968! It’d be equivalent to maybe US$30.00 today.
So that’s how 2001-era FaceTime was envisioned to be in 1968.
